Avelle - the new Bag Borrow or Steal sent a few fabulous bags to use in the Haute Market fashion show. I will be sending several of them back this week so that you can borrow them too.
This red leather bag is by Rafe New York. It's a great shape and size for everyday and definitely helped us add color to this outfit. I love the fringe detail! Cowl neck sweater dress from Steelballet in Overland Park, KS.
Since I borrowed this one for my personal collection, it was, in turn, borrowed by a friend and paired with a fabulous black and white animal print dress. She was definitely dressed in style for our night out to a charity poker tournament with our husbands last Saturday night. You can rent this hot red number at Avelle for just $25/mo. with membership, $38/mo. w/o membership. Bag Borrow or Steal a RAFE NEW YORK Bag
This brown leather handled Burberry bag (the Haymarket small Bowling Bag) added extra plaid to this dress that only had a smidgen of plaid trim. Plaid is popular this season and can be carefully mixed, like this example. Plaid-trim dress with long-sleeves and hoodie, and red silk ribbon necklace from The Jewelry Girl, Overland Park, KS.
This Burberry could be yours for just $125/month with membership at Avelle. Membership can be paid monthly or yearly. I sprang for the yearly $59.95 fee and have more than covered it by saving with the discounted membership rental rates. Though I meant to choose the black handled version, the bag still looked great on the runway. Bag Borrow or Steal a BURBERRY Bag
You may have noticed this purple Prada before as it's the one I took to New York's fashion week last month. I loved the Prada Vernice Sfumata Tote so much I've borrowed it for a second month since purple is such a hot trend at the moment. For the fashion show we used it to accessorize this Audrey-style two-tone dress from Underground Vogue and a purple scarf sent to us by the USA Network to help promote their new series, The Starter Wife. A beautiful ensemble.
